What to Expect

• Exam Prep Course: This course is designed to help you prepare for a certification exam. You can expect coverage of all exam learning objectives, with a focus on understanding key concepts, terminology, and how they’re assessed.
• Content Volume: Certification courses cover a large amount of material in a short time. Instructors prioritize content tied to exam objectives and supplementary topics may be addressed as time allows.
• Content Pace: Certification courses are fast-paced so that all exam objectives are covered. Instructors adhere to a stricter schedule so that everything is covered. While discussions and examples are included, the focus remains on certification readiness.
• Outside of Class Study Time: Plan for self-study outside of class, especially if the content is new to you. Passing the exam is not guaranteed.

Audience & Prerequisites

• Who Should Attend: This course is intended for leaders and change agents responsible for leading Lean-Agile transformations, including, Executives, directors, and managers; Agile coaches and change agents; Program and project managers; Product managers and product owners; Enterprise, solution, and system architects; and Portfolio, program, and PMO personnel.
• Official Prerequisites: There are no official prerequisites for attending this course. The course is a prerequisite of sitting the associated exam.
• Pre-Course Knowledge: No pre-course knowledge is required to attend this course.

Certification Information

• Certification Alignment: This course is aligned to the SAFe Agilist 6.0 certification. 
• Certification Expectations: Attendees should expect that some study outside of course hours will be required for certification success. The amount of self-study will depend on prior familiarity with the topic. Passing the exam is not guaranteed. 

Exam Information

• Duration: 90 minutes 
• Number of Questions: 45 
• Passing Score: 80% 
• Delivery: Web-based, multiple choice, closed book, no outside assistance, timed 
• Access: Practice and certification exams are available in your Scaled Agile Community portal under the course you’re attending.  
• Cost: Initial cost is included in the course registration fee if taken within 30 days of course completion. 
• Retake Fee: $50 for standard-level exams; $250 for SPC-level exam 
• Retake Policy: First retake may be taken immediately after the first failed attempt. Second retake may be taken 10 days after the first retake. Third retake may be taken 30 days after the second retake. All subsequent retakes require a 30-day wait.
