PRINCE2 Training FAQs

Organisations looking to improve their practices in managing projects have consistently found structured methods to be of immense benefit. PRINCE2® is a well-established standard structured method for managing projects and reducing uncertainty in project delivery. PRINCE2® is used by numerous private sector organisations worldwide and is mandatory on many European public sector projects.

Certification in project management skills is a growing expectation in many organisations. The PRINCE2® Foundation certificate in project management certificate in project management and Practitioner certification increases your credibility and demonstrates a thorough understanding of project processes and the PRINCE2® method.

The Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a project management standard that follows guidance from the PMBOK. It covers widely accepted techniques for improved project management processes. PRINCE2 is a methodology which prescribes processes and techniques for running projects. When choosing which project management certification to pursue, you should take into account that the two certifications are more popular in certain geographic regions. PMP Certification Training is more popular in the United States, for example, while PRINCE2 is more prevalent in the United Kingdom and Europe.
