Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) Training

Certified Scrum Professional® (CSP) Training

Demonstrate Your Extensive Scrum Expertise

As a Certified Scrum Professional® (CSP), you have demonstrated experience, documented training, and proven knowledge in the art of Scrum. CSPs challenge their Scrum teams to improve the way Scrum and other Agile methods are implemented for every project.

If you are an active CSM, CSD, or CSPO who has reached that next level of experience and expertise in the art of Scrum, you can elevate your career even further by earning the CSP credential.

To apply for your CSP certification, you must satisfy three eligibility criteria:

  1. Be a current holder of an active Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM), Certified Scrum Developer® (CSD), or Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) credential from Scrum Alliance®
  2. Have a minimum of 36 months of successful Agile/Scrum work experience gained within the past five years implementing Scrum inside organizations as a team member, product owner, ScrumMaster, or through other practices
  3. Gather and submit 70 Scrum Education Units (SEUs) from the past three years
Note: SEUs earned from your CSM (up to 16 SEUs), CSD (up to 24 SEUs), and/or CSPO (up to 16 SEUs) certifications can put you well on your way.

Earning Scrum Alliance SEUs with Learning Tree:

You can choose to participate in several different Learning Tree events and/or services to earn the 70 Scrum Education Units (SEUs) that you need to become a Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).

Earn SEUs by Attending Scrum Alliance Gatherings (Category A)

You can earn up to 45 SEUs at a rate of one credit per hour of participation in Scrum Alliance Global Gatherings, Scrum Alliance Regional Gatherings, Scrum Coaching Retreats, and Scrum Alliance-endorsed User Group events and activities. Presenting, coaching and attending sessions all count as SEU-eligible activities. A maximum of 8 SEUs may be earned per day.

Learning Tree's Agile User Group

Learning Tree hosts a quarterly Scrum user group, which is conducted by one of our expert Scrum instructors, to discuss and share current Scrum trends, news, and practices. We will also have workshops that focus on incorporating/adopting Lean, Agile, and Scrum, as well as group discussions that allow participants to share and learn from each other's experiences.

Search for the user group "Solving Your Agile Pain Points" on the Scrum Alliance website to see Learning Tree’s upcoming meetings.

Earn SEUs with Learning Tree Courses (Category B)

Completing Learning Tree courses is a great way to earn SEUs, and enhance your Scrum and Agile knowledge. There is no limit to the amount of SEUs earned from our courses that you can submit for your CSP certification. However, a minimum of 14 SEUs is required for this category.
