Skillfully Apply PRINCE2 Principles to All Project Situations
The PRINCE2 Practitioner certification takes your PRINCE2 credentials to the next level. Designed for project managers and key project management staff who are familiar with PRINCE2 terminology and concepts, PRINCE2 Practitioner validates your ability to tailor PRINCE2 principles for success in any project situation.
Learning Tree can help you prepare for the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam. Course 177, PRINCE2® Achieving Foundation & Practitioner Certification provides a comprehensive overview of the PRINCE2 methodology and provides you with the knowledge required to take the Foundation and Practitioner examinations, both of which are given during the five-day course.
Learning Tree is a fully accredited training organization for PRINCE2 best practice and understands what is required to help you learn and implement PRINCE2. Expert PRINCE2-accredited instructors provide the necessary guidance to prepare you for the examinations through a series of practice exam questions that reinforce the concepts taught on the course.
Consider this course if you are interested in achieving both the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certifications in one week!
To sit for the Practitioner exam, you must pass the PRINCE2 Foundation exam or provide proof of holding at least one of the following certifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional)
CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management)
IPMA Level A (Certified Projects Director)
IPMA Level B (Certified Senior Project Manager)
IPMA Level C (Certified Project Manager)
IPMA Level D (Certified Project Management Associate)
Earn PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification:
In order to earn this certification, you must take and pass the 2.5-hour, open-book (official PRINCE2 manual only) PRINCE2 Practitioner exam
A score of 55% (44 out of 80 correct answers) is required to pass the exam
Additional Exam Information:
Both the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner exams are given in Course 177 — the Foundation exam on day 4, and the Practitioner exam on day 5
If you fail the Foundation exam, you can retake it during the course; however, you may not take the Practitioner exam
If you pass the Foundation exam but fail the Practitioner exam, you will receive an APM Group Foundation Certificate from Learning Tree
If you fail the Practitioner exam, you can retake the exam without retaking the course
Maintain Your Certification:
All PRINCE2 Practitioners should be re-registered within three to five calendar years of their original certification.
This re-registration comprises a one-hour examination set at the same standard as the Practitioner examination.
The course is really well executed. Course leader delivers the content well, focuses on what is required for the exam and gives real life examples to aid learning. Working through the practitioner questions and answers is particularly helpful.
