Prepare for the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®)’s Level 1 (ECBA®), Level 2 (CCBA®), or Level 3 (CBAP®) certification with Learning Tree’s customizable training program. Course 3515 provides a deep-dive into the knowledge areas, tasks, and techniques of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK®) version 3, and draw parallels to your own projects. Course 3516 is a 1-day exam preparation study of fact-based questions, and Course 3517 is a 1-day exam preparation study of case-study questions. Important Course Information

Recommended Experience:

  • The IIBA® has set the following business analysis work experience criteria for applying to sit their Exams:
    • ECBA®: 0 years
    • CCBA®: 2-3 years
    • CBAP®: 5+ years

Course Preparation:

  • Two hours of reading, per night, will be assigned during class.

Course Materials:

  • Attendees receive the BABOKv3 and a set of study cards used with exercises in the course, and later as a study tool.
  • Students receive access to an electronic question bank to continue studying for 90 days.

Exam Information

  • At the end of class, students have the opportunity to take a practice exam designed to match the question breakdown of the ECBA.
  • The IIBA® Exam is not offered with this course, as attendees need to complete an application process to qualify with IIBA® to sit the exam.
  • The IIBA® requires some professional development training before sitting the exam (course hours satisfy this requirement):
    • Level 1 (ECBA®) and Level 2 (CCBA®) require 21 hours (this course meets the 21 hour requirement)
    • Level 3 (CBAP®) requires 35 hours (this course, Course 3516, and Course 3517, together, meet the 35 hour requirement)

Recommended CBAP Path:

  • Take Course 3515 and read the BABOK thoroughly.
  • Take Course 3515 and study the practice questions.
  • Take Course 3516 and study the practice questions.
  • Sit the CBAP exam.
