RESTON, VA (September 25, 2009) Learning Tree International (NASDAQ NGM: LTRE) has announced the introduction of a new course entitled Adobe Acrobat: Managing Electronic Documents. Over three days, an expert instructor will lead attendees through hands-on exercises designed to provide practical experience creating, distributing and manipulating PDF documents.
Learning Tree will begin presenting Adobe Acrobat: Managing Electronic Documents at its Education Centers in North America beginning November 2009.
The current schedule includes the following:
- Washington, DC (Rockville, MD) — November 4-6, 2009
- Washington, DC (Reston, VA) — December 9-11, 2009
- Washington, DC (Alexandria, VA) — January 20-22, 2010
- Chicago (Schaumburg, IL) — January 27-29, 2010
Attendees will also learn how to:
- Leverage the Portable Document Format (PDF) for effective document management
- Collaborate for interactive streamlined document reviews
- Create Acrobat forms and submit them electronically
- Apply interactivity to PDFs with actions, bookmarks, buttons and links
- Combine PDF and non-PDF files in a PDF portfolio
- Secure documents against modification or unauthorized viewing
