RESTON, VA (July 23, 2009) Learning Tree International (NASDAQ NGM: LTRE) announced the introduction of a new course to join its management curriculum entitled Emotional Intelligence: Achieving Leadership Success. The course utilizes Learning Tree’s proprietary RealityPlus&™ instructor-led training methodology which immerses attendees in real-world scenarios that enhance the learning experience and enable the immediate application of new skills upon returning to work.
Learning Tree intends to begin presenting Emotional Intelligence: Achieving Leadership Success in the U.S. in September 2009, in London, England in October 2009 and in Canada in November 2009.
The current schedule includes the following:
- Washington, DC (Reston, VA) — September 30–October 2, 2009
- Chicago, IL (Schaumburg) — October 7–9, 2009
- London, England — October 14–16, 2009
- Toronto, ON — November 4–6, 2009
During the three—day course—led by an expert instructor—participants will learn how to:
- Leverage Emotional Intelligence (EI) to improve effectiveness as a leader
- Identify the core competencies of Emotional Intelligence
- Gain an honest and accurate awareness of personal EI strengths and weaknesses
- Achieve greater personal effectiveness through self-management tools and techniques
- Harness the social and emotional potential of a team to improve performance
Emotional Intelligence: Achieving Leadership Success is valuable for professionals at any level—including those who may have recently moved into a leadership role—seeking to improve their existing skills. Established leaders wanting to refresh and further develop their EI skills will also benefit.
