NEW HANDS-ON COURSE FROM LEARNING TREE

RESTON, VA (June 5, 2009) Learning Tree International (NASDAQ NGM: LTRE) announced the introduction of a new course to join its IT curriculum entitled SQL Server High Availability: Hands-On. Over three days, attendees will be led by an expert instructor in a series of intensive hands-on exercises designed to provide practical experience in implementing high-availability solutions.
Learning Tree will begin presenting SQL Server High Availability: Hands-On in the U.S. in July 2009, and in London, England in August 2009.
The current schedule includes the following:

- Washington, DC (Rockville, MD) — Aug 12-14, 2009
- London, England — August 12-14, 2009
- Los Angeles, CA — August 26-28, 2009
Participants will also learn how to:
- Leverage SQL Server 2008 technologies to achieve high-availability databases
- Design a Service Level Agreement that matches business requirements
- Plan, prepare and install a SQL Server 2008 failover cluster
- Maintain a warm standby server with log shipping
- Mirror a database to ensure disaster recovery
- Implement peer-to-peer replication for network load balancing
