RESTON, VA (February 19, 2009) Learning Tree International (NASDAQ NM: LTRE) today added a new title to its extensive .NET curriculum, .NET 3.0/3.5 Overview: Hands-On. Over the course of four days, an expert instructor will lead attendees in hands-on exercises—presented in Visual Basic or C#—designed to provide practical experience in developing .NET 3.0/3.5 applications.
Learning Tree is presenting .NET 3.0/3.5 Overview: Hands-On in Canada beginning in February 2009, in the U.S. in April 2009, and in London, England, in May 2009.
The current course schedule includes the following:
- Toronto, ON — February 10-13, 2009
- Los Angeles, CA — April 7-10, 2009
- Washington, DC (Rockville, MD) — May 5-8, 2009
- London, England — May 12-15, 2009
Participants will also be taught how to:
- Integrate the features of .NET 3.0/3.5 to simplify complex, multitier application architectures
- Automate and optimize database access with LINQ to SQL and LINQ to Objects
- Design modern graphical applications with Windows Presentation Foundation
- Distribute applications over multiple channels with Windows Communication Foundation
- Orchestrate business processes using Windows Workflow Foundation
.NET 3.0/3.5 Overview: Hands-On is valuable for experienced .NET 2.0 developers interested in utilizing the features of .NET 3.0/3.5, or programmers desiring an introductory overview of these technologies.
