INSTITUTE FOCUSES ON APPLYING PMBOK® PRINCIPLES TO PROJECTS
RESTON, VA (November 29, 2007) Learning Tree International (NASDAQ NM: LTRE) has expanded the Learning Tree Management Institute’s Project Management curriculum with a new course entitled The Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) Guide in Practice: Applying the Principles to Your Projects. The course employs Learning Tree’s RealityPlus learning methodology in which an experienced instructor/facilitator leads the class through an immersive, multi-media enhanced case study for the purpose of gaining practical experience in applying PMBOK Guide best practices to projects.
During the 3-day course, participants will also be taught how to:
- Successfully manage projects with the most relevant principles of the PMBOK Guide – Third Edition
- Complete the key tasks necessary to get a project authorized and underway
- Perform the platforming tasks required to effectively manage a project
- Monitor, analyze, predict, act and report on the daily activities of a project
- Effectively close the project and leverage the lessons learned
The Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) Guide in Practice: Applying the Principles to Your Projects is valuable for project managers, project teams and others who want to deliver projects using the PMBOK Guide-based approach.
