IS NEWEST ADDITION TO LEARNING TREE TECHNOLOGY CURRICULUM
RESTON, VA (November 9, 2006) Learning Tree International (NASDAQ NM: LTRE) has added a new course to its extensive IT curriculum entitled Windows Vista: An Introduction. During the 4-day course, an expert instructor will lead participants in extensive hands-on exercises designed to provide practical experience in managing and configuring Windows Vista operating systems.
Attendees will also receive instruction in:
- Installing and maintaining Windows Vista in a professional environment
- Navigating and configuring Windows Vista
- Creating and managing users and groups
- Protecting resources with rights, access control and encryption
- Implementing and troubleshooting network and Internet connectivity
Windows Vista: An Introduction is valuable for PC technicians, IT and desktop support staff, systems administrators and power users.
Windows Vista: An Introduction augments existing Learning Tree courses in the Windows 2003 curriculum, including Hands-On Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 Active Directory and Migration: Hands-On, Deploying and Managing a Windows Server 2003 Environment: Hands-On, Optimizing and Troubleshooting Windows Server 2003 and XP: Hands-On, Securing Windows Server 2003: Hands-On, Scripting Windows Administrative Tasks: Hands-On and Windows Active Directory Troubleshooting: Hands-On.
Learning Tree intends to begin presenting Windows Vista: An Introduction in North America in January 2007 and at its London Education Center in February 2007.
