Program description
 The Storage Technologist certification is part of EMC Proven™ Professional, a global certification program in the information storage and management industry. Through the Proven Professional program, IT and storage professionals in a range of roles can improve their workplace productivity, validate their industry expertise, further their careers and increase data center operational efficiencies.
There are three recognized levels of expertise that can be achieved in the program: Associate, Specialist, and Expert. To progress, you must complete the previous level and pass the associated exam. The designations for each level are:
- EMC Proven Associate (EMCPA): This is the foundation certification which correlates to Course 174, "Information Storage and Management."
- EMC Proven Professional Storage Technologist Specialist (EMCST)
- EMC Proven Professional Storage Technologist Expert (EMCSTe)
