Program Description
Cloud computing is revolutionizing all aspects of IT, including hardware, operating systems and applications. Faced with a rapidly changing business environment, organizations are under pressure to respond with a flexible IT infrastructure and applications, increasing the demand for highly skilled cloud computing professionals.

Three Core Courses
In this course, you gain the key knowledge and experience required to leverage both the business and technical benefits of cloud computing. Specifically, you learn to exploit Software as a Service (SaaS) to optimize cost and resources; create, deploy and secure applications and services with Platform as a Service (PaaS); select and commission a computing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) with Amazon EC2 and Eucalyptus; and design a cloud implementation strategy that minimizes the risk to your organization.
 
In this course, you gain the skills to build scalable, fault-tolerant and secure cloud-based applications using the Windows Azure Platform. You learn how to leverage your existing knowledge of Visual Studio and .NET to develop applications for the cloud; create, deploy, configure and monitor ASP.NET applications that run in the Azure cloud; and host Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) services using Azure.
 
Choose one of the following core courses depending on the environment in which you are working.
 
In this course, you gain the skills to deploy and manage virtual machines built on Hyper-V technology. You also learn to roll out highly available services and applications through clustering and quick migrations, centralize management of virtual machines with System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM), and secure Hyper-V servers through firewalls and reduced attack surfaces.
 
In this course, you learn how to deploy and configure a highly available virtual infrastructure with VMware vSphere. You also learn how to allocate networking and storage resources, create VMware Virtual Machine File System (VMFS) and Network File System (NFS) datastores, and install and configure vCenter Server 4.0 for a secure and efficient virtualized IT environment.

Elective Courses

Each Certification Program involves the successful completion of four courses - three core courses, plus one elective course, and their associated examinations.

Certifications are FREE. Exams are offered on the last day of each course. Transfer credit is available.
